Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had spacious rooms that were worth the money, although there were some delays with new stock deliveries. The fans in the hallways helped to combat any lingering smells from the adjacent services. The location was convenient with plenty of food options nearby, even though the surroundings felt a bit dirty. The dining was satisfactory, but the price and lack of breakfast were noted as downsides.
I was double-booked on the first night by Booking, but the hotel accommodated two children and our dog comfortably. The rooms were quite tired with not particularly clean carpets, in need of a spruce up with a new bed and carpet. However, the shower door was rusty. The service, while friendly and pleasant, seemed a bit bored at work, although Ryan was exceptionally helpful even at odd hours. The location was ideal for my visit, despite feeling a bit bleak initially with stuck doors. On the upside, there's a huge range of dining options nearby. Dining was rather poor, with access to a crisp salad only. The facilities could use some improvement, especially with the dated timer-controlled air conditioning set by head office. The adjacent building houses a service station where breakfast was free with a voucher.
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms at a wonderful value, situated conveniently just off the A1 for a peaceful stay. While the ground floor window issue was quickly fixed, cleanliness could be improved. The friendly and helpful service added to the pleasant experience.
